I always gave a diagnostic at the beginning of the school year to help place students on the spectrum of math knowledge to help me group students or target intervention for students. I used this in my 7th grade classroom, but it could be used in middle school or even in an algebra class. This document can also be used as a homework, practice exam, final exam, extra credit practice, or however else you could imagine!

This graphic organizer allows students to describe all the sign rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positive and negative integers.

Bingo is a simple concept that students love. In this review math activity, students are given a list of numbers to input into their bingo boards.
