This resource is geared towards first grade students. The first sorting activity is a set of task cards that allows students to sort the pictures and values of each coin (penny, nickel, dime, and quarter). Two versions of a reference sheet is included so students can check their work. There is also cut and paste Coin Sort worksheet available for extra practice of the same skill.
