Using this worksheet have students understand how the Spanish language writes the date. This worksheet makes special attention to write the English date in our normal tongue and a backwards construction more similar to Spanish.
Have your students first write the "rules" for Spanish gender for masculine and feminine. Then, students will label a list of given words as either masculine or feminine, and put the correct article before the word.
Get your students engaged in a game of Go Fish! Using your weather vocabulary, have groups of 4 students take turns asking "Quires ________" by using their Spanish vocabulary for weather.
Have your students label the images with the weather vocabulary they think fits for each description. Also put the correct season with the correct description at the top.
Using the Vocabulario 1 words, have your students label if the words are masculine or feminine, along with adding adjectives that agree in both gender and number.

Using the Vocabulary 1 vocab, students receive hints in English that they then translate to put into the crossword. Perfect practice for subject and adjective agreement!
Want to get your students acclimated to a regular vocabulary test this school year? This test uses only a few very common and introductory words for students to practice the format of providing English or Spanish translations, their part of speech, and filling in the blank with the correct word.
