Mean Median Mode Range Flapbook Pages

These pages are designed to be cut out (preferably around 80%) and glued into math notebooks/binders. Students should write how to find the mean, median, mode, and range for a mathematical set of data. See below for ideas on how to find each of these, for a given set of mathematical data. (This, of course, is just an example.) Mean: Add all of the data together, then divide by the total number of pieces of dataMedian: Arrange all of the data in chronological order, from least to greatest. Cross

When you teach the upper grades, there's just too much vocabulary to put up and not enough space. Rather than putting the typical alphabet and vocabulary words under one specific letter, I separated it by subject. Fonts Used: KG The Corner of the SkyAGMOMSTERKG Neatly Printed SpaceMTF Jumpin' Jack

Experience

I was a substitute teacher for grades K-12 for three years prior to becoming a full-time teacher. While I have experience teaching multiple subjects in elementary school, mathematics will always be my favorite. I have 11 years of experience teaching math in the following grade levels: Grade 4: 1 year Grade 5: 5 years Grade 6: 1 year Grade 7: 2 years Grade 8: current grade Grade 9: 1 year

Teaching style

I make math fun! I love to joke around with my students and make them feel comfortable while learning. As a former student, I know what it's like to struggle and not have a teacher care enough to help you overcome confusion. I dedicate my life and spare time to create resources that I know will enrich the academics of all of my students.
