I have 14 years of experience teaching a variety of mathematics courses at both the middle school and high school levels. I currently teach AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, and AP Precalculus.
Teaching style
I like to blend inquiry and direct instruction during my lessons. My goal is to create a classroom where students actively engage with mathematics, make sense of concepts, and develop a deeper understanding of the content rather than simply memorizing procedures.
My own education history
I hold a B.A. in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education and an M.Ed. in STEM Education with a focus in Mathematics.
