Students will listen or read the book Wodney Wat by Helen Lester. The students will participate in activities related to the book. The students will make predictions, write about their favorite part, make text-to-self connections, and think beyond the text.

Students will read about Living and Non-living things, then highlight the key words in the passage. They will then read through the passage three times. After reading, students will draw a picture based on what they read.
