Teaching style

I view students who come to my classroom room as having learning differences vs. learning disabilities. It is my job to introduce strategies to my students they will be able to use to achieve in all areas of their lives. These strategies vary, depending upon the needs of my students who learn to maximize on their strengths to support what challenges them most. My classroom is a safe, flexible community with high expectations. Because we often spend multiple years together, we are a family supported by trust and mutual respect.

Changes with college have crept up on us, but our continued love of the outdoors keeps us grounded and we spend as much time as possible, as a family, at our family cabin in Southern Colorado.
