This is a Google slides presentation with pictures of pattern blocks representing fractions. Students can build with their own blocks as you go through the lesson, OR it can be used as a stand alone lesson. It asks students to identify what fraction of the whole is represented by the picture.

Do you need a form for your data binder that is specific to Alabama math standards?This file contains a form for each fifth grade AL math standard. There are columns for the student names, any notes from observations, and a column for each student’s proficiency level on that standard. I personally use the Marzano Level of Understanding scale that rates levels of proficiency 1-4, but any scale could be used. There are 2 pages for each standard. When you print, print on front and back so that ever
