Identification picture slide show of some basic types of rocks; Basalt, Marble, Limestone, and Sandstone. I use this ppt to go with my 6th grade Foss unit Soils, Rocks and Land forms.

I use these guided notes to help students work through the simulation. I use it as an independent introduction to electricity over a 3 day period with a 40 minute class period. The simulation walks them through 7 different parts with a mini assessment at the end of each section. Before moving on to the next section they must answer the assessment questions correctly for the simulation to let them move on.
