After each chapter, I assign my students to create a one-page summary of the most important material covered in that chapter. Over my 15 years of teaching AP Statistics, I have created my one-pagers from each chapter. My students believe these one-page summaries have been a tremendous help in review for the AP exam. I am currently in my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught the following courses:

Teaching style
I love student-centered lessons that offer a discovery approach.
Class projects are a major part of all the classes I teach.
I aim to keep my students engaged and having fun while learning.
If they can leave my class with a positive perspective on Math - I consider it a WIN.
My own education history
Graduated SUNY Albany with a Major in Math and a Minor in Psychology.
Went on to get my Master's degree and Teaching certification (Math 7 - 12) from Queens College.
I have been teaching at the same high school my entire teaching career. It's my second home :)

I am the district Mentor Coordinator. The Mentor program at our school is a great program for new teachers to gain support and guidance from experienced teachers.
