I use this every year it reading and/or writing folders so that my students can reference the material while we're working! It saves time, promotes independence, and is great practice!
We used this during October for project-based learning to go along with our Charlotte's Web unit and the kids loved it! This include an editable parent letter, a question template on which the students can record their responses, and then a list of 24 different spiders and their most significant attribute. (We printed these and cut them apart and students "drew from a hat" and celebrated their own unique spider to research!)
