Subjects taught include Math, Language Arts (Reading, Grammar, Spelling, and Writing), Science and Social Studies. Experience
I have taught over 23 years in the classroom, working mostly in the intermediate grades. Subjects taught include Math, Language Arts (Reading, Grammar, Spelling, and Writing), Science and Social Studies. Teaching style
I approach students with an open mind and heart. I love hands-on learning and strive to present material in differentiated formats to better reach all learners.
Awards & shining teacher moments
While teachers weren't often celebrated with awards in the district where I taught, I take great pride in the consistent growth and success my students achieved during their year with me. I am so proud of those kids! I also love that many of my former students still connect with me outside of school!

Additional biographical information
I reside in rural Wyoming with my husband of 30 years. I love a simple life, and am a happy mom of 4 grown boys and their wives. My sweet granddaughter lives closeby, too, and I love spending time with her! In my free time, I enjoy baking cookies, camping in the mountains, and spending time with family.
