I endorse a practical and hands on approach to music and like to maintain a positive atmosphere in the classroom. My preference is to teach theory through practical activities and make learning tasks that are approachable for people of all abilities.

Additional biographical information

I have organized and conducted concert bands, jazz ensembles, percussion groups, and choirs. I am also passionate about children's music and have recorded a few children's albums. I teach Primary and Secondary Music and have done live performances and run incursions and workshops that encourage children to engage in and create music.
