The Myth World student worksheets and teacher's answer key, I developed serve as a tool to hold students accountable for the passages they read during Myth World. These worksheets ensure students engage with the material rather than simply clicking through to the next statue without comprehension. To enhance collaboration and learning, I organized the class into "Greek Groups" inspired by Mount Olympus, such as Tridents, Titans, Olympians, Pillars, Oracles, and Thunderbolts. In this project, you’ll turn your real school schedule into a fraction challenge!First, you’ll create an hour-by-hour schedule of a typical school week. ⏰ Next, you’ll group your time into categories (like class time, homework, sleep, activities, and free time) and simplify each category into fractions of your week. Finally, you’ll put your math skills to work by comparing, adding, subtracting, and multiplying your fractions to analyze how your time is really spent. By the end, you’ll see yo
Guide students to think about one-word that represents their goal, aspirations, or mindset for 2026. I put all of the students' posters up to create a motivational bulletin board. "One Word" Examples could include: "Focus" for staying on task."Courage" for facing challenges."Kindness" for fostering better relationships."Growth" for improving in academics or personal skillsHere are some other one-word ideas: Growth
We play Lotería before we begin reading the novel. I print both pages for each student. The Lotería board has 25 squares, and there are 30 picture cards, so students will not use all of the pictures. Students cut out 25 pictures and glue them onto the Lotería board in any order they choose. The teacher then calls out the Spanish word for each picture. This activity helps students become familiar with the Spanish vocabulary before we start reading the novel. The goal is to get five in a row, just

I created a 6 • 7 MASTER Challenge for my sixth graders, since they’ve all been obsessed with the “6–7” trend lately. I introduced it to the class yesterday, and it was a huge hit! The students were laughing, cheering each other on, and every single one of them participated. The whole challenge took about ten minutes, and I even recorded a video of them doing it because it was just too good not to capture! The best part? There’s a hidden twist: every number 7 on the challenge sheet is bolded,

This is the outline I give my students to help them create their STEM Fair Display Board. I tell the students that they create a page for each category and then paste it onto their display board. I show them examples of past STEM Fair Projects that were done exceptionally well.

With all of the craziness of 2020, I created a fun BINGO card to have some fun with my students. The students will write each of the 24 things associated with 2020 in different boxes, so that all of the Bingo Cards will be different. Then we will play several rounds of Bingo with prizes for the winners!
