I have several years experience teaching at the middle school level (both 6th and 7th) and now at the high school level I teach Chemistry and AP Physics in Texas. I teach at a Early College High School in Texas and it has been the most wonderful experience in my career!

I made this activity after looking for one on TPT and not having any luck so hopefully this helps others out as well. This activity will take about 40 minutes, and covers TEKS 6.5A and 6.5B, understanding what an element is and what elements are found in the Earth. There is a companion that goes along with this activity that makes it easier to accomplish, but you do not have to purchase it. I hope this helps.
