About the store

Experience

Since 2009 I have worked as a teacher teaching French, Spanish and English. I have taught in Secondary Education, in Official Language Schools and also at the University of Zaragoza. Since 2024, I have been working as a Spanish teacher in the DLI program in Kentucky (United States).

Teaching style

I am a hard-working and collaborative person. I like my students to work participating and having fun in class but without losing sight of the compliance of the rules to get the maximum performance from them.

My own education history

I studied Translation and Interpreting at the University of Valladolid, in the Faculty of Soria. My languages are French and English. I also speak Italian. Afterwards, I did a Postgraduate Degree in Translation and Computer Systems at Pompeu iFabra University in Barcelona. I also have a Master's Degree in SpecializedLiterary Translation (French - Spanish).

Additional biographical information

My name is Silvia Soriano, I am Spanish. I was born in 1981 in Teruel (Spain) , but I grew up in a small town of about 300 inhabitants called Ojos Negros. Among my hobbies is traveling, getting to know new places. I am also passionate about reading, movies... I love music of all kinds and to relax I like to do sports, knitting, or cooking.
