An engaging statistics assessment project that covers two-way tables, averages and range, quartiles and box-plots, correlation and scatter graphs. These two slides provide an interesting starter to the study of surds. The Minds On activity promotes recall of known square roots. The Inquiry challenges pupils to build a link between a square root and alternative, equivalent methods of representation.
