Simple to use exit ticket / exit slip that can fit to most any activity as a way to check for quick understanding. On this particular exit ticket, students use the "3, 2, 1" understanding strategy. They share three "things" they learned, two "things" they still have one question about, and one "thing" they are still unsure of. The worksheet includes three exit tickets.
This is a simple and editable Pick 4 Menu, which compliments any Daily 5 activities you might do in your classroom. The only "round" missing is Listen to Reading, since a good majority of my reading curriculum uses read aloud and listen to reading. Typically, to save paper I copy the slide twice, and print two slides per page. Enjoy.
This is a simple to use brainstorming sheet to use on DAY 1 of any informational text writing project. It breaks up students ideas into topics they know a lot about to topics they know very little about. The goal is to fill the bigger box with the most ideas.
