About the store
Simple Steps store is a store offering art activities, creative coloring, intriguing graphics and amazing resources to color & create with. I am honored to be able to share all that I have created. After all, it was created for you & your students. My diverse teaching experience has played a significant role in inspiring and shaping my Simple Steps store. My teaching background has highly influenced the creation of the store you know as Simple Steps.
My teaching journey has been incredibly diverse and enriching. This has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and a deep appreciation for creativity and artistry. I have been teaching for 25+ years. I started teaching at a large middle school, then moved into homeschooling co-ops. Now for the last 10 years, I have taught at two different charter schools.
I have taught a wide variety of subjects such as Photography, Ceramics, Honors Ceramics, Painting I, Painting II, Graphic Design, Yearbook, 7th & 8th grade general art, 3D design, Sculptures and so much more! I love color, graphics and meaningful art. I hope to share my joy of creation with you through my resources. Thank you again for all of your support!

Teaching style
My teaching style includes self exploration, decision making & problem solving, focusing on where each individual is at and not comparing yourself to others. I love teaching art in a studio style format where each student can explore and find their own way through the creation process. I enjoy discussing and thoughtful reflection. After all, we are all learning together!
