Simplify Teaching for Learning

Students will digitally set up and label the revolution of Earth around the Sun and the seasons of Earth. There are two sets so that students can see the difference between the angle of the axis of Earth. I taught the students that the axis of Earth is always pointing at Polaris during the lesson.

My students love this activity! I usually use these to introduce vocabulary at the beginning of a new unit. Students partner up and go from picture to picture and analyze and decide which vocabulary word the picture is depicting. Some are easy and some are hard. This activity makes for great conversation, collaboration and discussion.
