Simplify Teaching for Learning

In this activity students will be placing facts about the patterns and effects of seasonal changes on the diagram of Earths labeled as April, June, September, and December. This can be used as a small group activity for high achieving regular and gifted classes, it may be difficult for some classes or students. If the diagram was printed poster size I think it could be used in any regular classroom as a whole group discussion activity.

Parents and Teachers.... I have created a 3rd Grade Science Content Coloring Book. Almost every TEKS is in the coloring book as diagrams with labels and some with specific activities. Also included is a section of ideas of questions to ask and discussions to have with your child or students as they work through each section. Parents, this would be great as a summer tool to review past information learned for 3rd graders or even as a look ahead of information to come for 2nd graders.
