Simplify Teaching for Learning

Have your students use tools on the tool bar to illustrate diagrams including rotation, revolution, day/night, and shadows. This is a great activity for Substitute plans, review, demonstrating understanding, or even homework.

Incorporating writing in your Science classroom is so very important! Have your students think and write as if they are planning to conduct scientific investigations. I am creating writing activities that you can use as a "when you are finished" activity, substitute activity, or science practices review activity.

In this slide show you will find a short clip explaining the nuclear reactor in a nuclear military submarine. There are also several questions posed for students to discuss and answer in partners or small groups. This is great to get student's started thinking and talking.
