About the store
My background is in the primary grades. I have taught K-2nd in various positions. I have been teaching since 2010. I currently teach 1st grade and love watching how fast my students grow into readers, writers and mathematicians. They teach me far more each day than I can begin to teach them. I love growing with them and designing plans that will meet their varying needs so they can be the best of themselves.

Teaching style

I like to meet students on their levels by including low, middle and high level teaching throughout my lessons. I like to group students with similar ability levels to help them soar, but at the same time to provide time for interaction/group work with students of varying levels to build a positive classroom community. I feel it is necessary to include as many learning styles as possible for all learners.
