Digital planning sheet that focuses on plot development of a narrative, fiction, or story writing. Guide students through the elements of a story while planning for the beginning, 3 middles, to end. 3 middles include the rising action, problem/conflict, solution. Separates beginning and conclusion/end.

**Based on book Before She was Harriet (on GetEpic.com) Students will read book, click and drag the character traits that describe Harriet Tubman. Students will then use TEXT EVIDENCE to explain how this trait describes her. Can be used without book, just change traits and directions.

Students will begin by scanning a nonfiction article (either by choice or given by teacher). Students will click and drag the text features they identify on to the chart then explain how the information helped them as a reader. Can be used for whole group, shared, or independent practice
