About the store

Experience

I’m a high school math teacher certified in both math and special education. I work with a wide range of learners and focus on helping students build confidence with concepts that often feel overwhelming. My goal is always to make math more accessible without lowering expectations.

Teaching style

I believe math should make sense. I focus on breaking concepts down in clear, visual ways that help students actually understand what they’re doing, not just memorize steps. A lot of my approach is built around simplifying ideas, making connections, and giving students a way in when they feel stuck.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My biggest wins come from seeing students who struggled with math start to believe they can do it. Whether it’s a student finally understanding a concept after weeks of frustration or gaining the confidence to try problems independently, those moments drive everything I create.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Master’s in Education from Merrimack College. I am licensed in Moderate Disabilities (K–8, 5–12) and Mathematics (9–12), and have been teaching since 2016 as both a special education and math teacher.

Additional biographical information

I’m also a football coach, and that mindset carries into my classroom. Clear communication, simple systems, and repetition with purpose are the goal. Everything I create is designed to be practical, easy to implement, and effective in a real classroom.
