About the store
I taught Pre-K for one year. This is where I discovered my love for teaching and went back to college after being a stay-at-home mom for 4 children. I graduated in 2009 and began teaching in a multi-age classroom of 2nd and 3rd grade students in fall of 2010. Last year my school no longer offered multi-age classrooms; therefore, I now teach 3rd grade. I love this age group and hope to remain here for many years to come.

Experience

I taught Pre-K for one year. This is where I discovered my love for teaching and went back to college after being a stay-at-home mom for 4 children. I graduated in 2009 and began teaching in a multi-age classroom of 2nd and 3rd grade students in fall of 2010. Teaching style

My teaching style is differentiating my lesson plans to meet the needs of all of my students so each student can grow beyond what they ever thought they could. It's so exciting to see a student's eyes light up when they accomplish a task that in the beginning they believed wasn't possible. I provide daily hands-on opportunities with manipulatives to reinforce my lessons. My goal is to provide a learning environment where each student feels special and valued while growing not only as a student but also as an individual. I want to make a difference in their lives that lasts a lifetime.
