About the store
I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher. This allowed me to experience various classrooms, from Kindergarten to high school and special education. Currently, I have spent six wonderful years teaching the first grade. This has included becoming a K-2 leader, creating intervention plans for students below grade level, designing and implementing intervention plans, and differentiating to fit the needs and areas of strengths and weaknesses for each student.

Experience

I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher. This allowed me to experience various classrooms, from Kindergarten to high school and special education. Currently, I have spent six wonderful years teaching the first grade. This has included becoming a K-2 leader, creating intervention plans for students below grade level, designing and implementing intervention plans, and differentiating to fit the needs and areas of strengths and weaknesses for each student.

Teaching style

I am a dedicated teacher who believes each child is capable of learning and I am willing to put in as much time as required to help students learn and be successful. My strengths include classroom management, being detail oriented, and working to differentiate for each individual students.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a P-12 Literacy Endorsement, K-8 Elementary Education Endorsement and a Minor in Elementary Mathematics.
