As we start our seventh year homeschooling, I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that I'm not a huge fan of textbooks and workbooks. If I can find a way to add in great literature, I'm going to do it! Books have taken us so far in our studies. They make the lesson fun and interesting, and we are able to learn across multiple subjects and make unforgettable connections with our family in the process. I'm so excited to share the resources that my family uses and loves. I hope the books and the conversations bring joy to your homeschool, just as they have with ours!

Ten Frame and Double Ten Frame
Use this ten frame alongside a textbook, for homework help, partner work, small group instruction, math centers, or a whole group activity. Use manipulatives to represent a number on the ten frame or to visualize basic addition/subtraction problems. Encourage hands on learning while students complete their math. For best use, laminate the mats to create a tool that can be used at any time.
