Students play familiar games that are just what's needed for a fun review of the basic math skills. Each group can pick a different skill. I color code the games and store in zip bags to make it easy to hand out and collect games that last for years. To challenge my more mathematically inclined students I have puzzles and challenges to keep them thinking like mathematicians.

Pizza Fraction Comics
I asked our third graders for suggestions for helping them review fractions and this was their idea: a two page comic book that features one of their favorite foods, PIZZA! A pizza is divided and divided to review halves, quarters, and eighths. Choose color or blackline images that students can color. Choose to print with text or have students add text. Use a powerpoint to introduce the sequence of images or copy and paste from the presentation to use the images in another way in your classroom

I included a PowerPoint™ presentation that shows step-by-step how to make a simple bar graph.
I narrated a movie of the presentation so your students can watch with classmates or independently as they learn the steps in creating a great bar graph.
