About the store
Hi! I am currently a SPED/Inclusion teacher for 3rd grade ELA. I have most of my experience in 1st and 3rd grade. I have taught 1st grade for 3 years and 3rd grade ELA for 2 years. I really thought 1st grade was where I was meant to be, but after moving to 3rd I realize I love it so much more! I have taught for 5 years in total, in both California and Georgia. I have taught students of all socioeconomic backgrounds and academic levels. Although, the majority of my students now are from a low socioeconomic background. 2/3 of the schools I have taught in have been Title I schools but I find those to be very rewarding because I am able to see so much growth and I'm able to give so much love to these students.

This under the sea theme cover sheet can be used for your Make-Up work folders. I laminate them to the front of a manilla envelope so that I have an easy way to give students work they have missed.

Teaching style

My teaching style varies and I'd like to say that I grow more each year. I'm always reading about new teaching styles and using new ideas that I've gained from colleagues or online. I try to center my teaching around where the students are and try to meet them on their level so they are able to reach their goals by the end of the year. I have found engaging lessons and hands on projects really help my students with their growth. I use a variety of styles to help my students learn.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught and have teaching licenses for Georgia and California. I am also CLAD Certified in California.

Additional biographical information

I have been happily married for almost a year now with my wonderful husband. We've recently adopted a Pit Bull who is the sweetest dog ever! In my spare time I like to read, paint, play video games, and spend time with my family. I hope you find something here for your classroom or needs. I try to make things as easy to use as possible. If there's something you don't see that you'd like, just ask! (:
