Teaching style

I am an expert in implementing individualized instruction for students with severe disabilities in a calm, structured, classroom environment.

My own education history

I am a certified in Special Education of Severe Disabilities K-12 in MA. I graduated from Bridgewater State University in MA: Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders Masters of Education in Special Education of Severe Disabilities I have taught substantially separate classrooms from preschool to middle school. I have a strong interest in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disorders, and Multiple Disabilities. I love learning new technology to implement in the classroom and meet the needs of all students. I now train teachers on classroom setup in the self-contained setting through my online course Simple Self-Contained Setup 101® .

I am from Massachusetts but currently live right over the border in New Hampshire with my husband Michael, our two girls Quinn and Reese, and our yellow lab Brody. I love the fall, learning about house plants, and watching baking shows on Netflix.
