About the store
Hi! I’m the creator of Simply Speech Tools. I received my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University and graduated in 2015. Since graduating, I’ve worked in a rural Ohio school district as a school-based SLP, primarily serving K–12 students.
Over the years, I’ve supported a wide variety of learners and communication needs, including articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, and social communication (including students with ASD). I’m passionate about creating materials that are practical, time-saving, and student-friendly—so busy SLPs can spend less time prepping and more time connecting with students.

Over the years, I’ve supported a wide variety of learners and communication needs, including articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, and social communication (including students with ASD). I’m passionate about creating materials that are practical, time-saving, and student-friendly—so busy SLPs can spend less time prepping and more time connecting with students.
Teaching style
My teaching style is practical, supportive, and structured—with a big focus on building relationships and creating a therapy space where students feel safe, successful, and motivated. I truly believe progress happens faster when students enjoy coming to speech and feel connected.
I like materials that are easy to prep (or require no prep at all), provide clear routines students understand quickly, include built-in supports (word banks, visuals, sentence starters), and make it simple to get lots of practice without feeling repetitive.
I also think sessions should be fun and encouraging—with plenty of laughter, movement when possible, and activities that feel like games while still targeting meaningful goals. I design with real school schedules in mind (limited time, mixed groups, lots of goals). If it helps you walk into a session feeling prepared and helps your students stay engaged, it belongs in this store.
