About the store

Experience

I am in my 9th year teaching Special Education. The last 6 years, I have worked in a middle school setting with students with intellectual disabilities.

Teaching style

I focus on life skill, social emotional learning, growth mindset, and relationships.

My own education history

I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. I was a correctional officer for 3 years in a juvenile detention center. I decided that I wanted to help children more! I went back to school and received my teaching license in Special Education and my masters degree in Education.

Additional biographical information

I have been married for 7 years to my husband Mitchell. Mitchell is a police officer. We have three boys. Beckett is 4 years old, Gentry is almost 3, and Keagan is 4 months old! We have two dogs. Scooby is a boxer and she is 11 years old. Greg is also a boxer and is 7 years old.
