While the focus is for school, I also like having positive phrases, quotes and trackers for my personal use to remind me that I need my personal time as well. Another product I made for my 5th grade students with special education needs. This allows all students to work on the same assignment with differentiated support through the use of word banks and sentence starters. Differentiated paper and writing checklists are included to support independence in students.

I created this assignment to use with 5th grade students who receive special education services. This graphic organizer is to help students come up with ideas and organize their thoughts for their final writing. I love giving students options during lessons so there are multiple different houses for students to choose from. I also love the checklist at the end so students can gain independence in their writing and editing.

I write the students task down in order for a lesson and once they complete the step they get a sticker placed in a box. Once all of the boxes are filled the student earns a break.
