About the store
I have the wonderful pleasure of teaching students in all grade levels at a classical Christian private school in an urban setting. As the sole music teacher, I find my bulletin boards and resources have to be quite versatile and work across multiple grade levels. In my upper levels, I have the pleasure of also teaching a fantastic handbell ensemble.

Experience

I have the wonderful pleasure of teaching students in all grade levels at a classical Christian private school in an urban setting. As the sole music teacher, I find my bulletin boards and resources have to be quite versatile and work across multiple grade levels. In my upper levels, I have the pleasure of also teaching a fantastic handbell ensemble.

Teaching style

I love singing, moving, playing, and creating with my students to help them discover the wonder and joy in music. Teaching with the classical method, we focus on having a singing classroom. I use Kodaly and Orff techniques with my students. I also love encouraging celebration of diversity through music.

I have my bachelors in music education with certification for PreK-12 in all music areas in my state.

Fun fact: I also have experience in teaching general education to kindergarten and 6th grade! I loved bringing music into these settings to help students learn.
