I am co-author of Q & A for MLT and the Jump Right In: Kindergarten Music Series, as well as a contributor on several other publications. I was named Michigan Music Educator of the Year and Arts Educator of the Year in 2018. I am part of the faculty for the Gordon Institute for Music Learning (GIML) and a clinician for music education conferences throughout the United States.
My own education history
I hold a B.M. in performance from Michigan State University, teacher certification from the University of Houston, and a M.M. Ed. from Temple University. I am an early childhood and elementary general music instructor for the Gordon Institute for Music Learning and is level one certified in Orff-Schulwerk.
