Dual Language Classroom Labels in English and Spanish

Included in this set are 47 labels for items found in the classroom and/or supplies in the classroom environment. Each label includes a picture as well as the English and Spanish word. This is great reinforcement for students who are in dual language or students who take a Spanish class as a special. Greetings Around the World **updated to include 2 new countries!

**Now updated to include a cover page if you choose to hole punch and display these on rings! Greetings Around the World - Learn how to say 'Goodbye' **updated!

**Updated to include South Africa and Iran! I've also added a cover page should you decide to display these on rings. As an International Baccalaureate candidate school, I am big on pushing international mindedness in my classroom and teaching my students to think outside themselves. They loved getting to learn how children around the world greet each other, so I am excited to be able to offer up a second part to this series. Experience

For Kayla, this coming year makes 11 years of teaching, 8 in kindergarten and 3 in 1st! She loves helping her students get from point A to point B and making ALL of them successful. K'lyssa has 9 years of teaching under her belt and continues to grow and learn right alongside her kinders! She has a passion for helping them succeed.

Teaching style

We believe in teaching via hands on learning experiences, and functioning as a guide on the side a large portion of the day. We do centers in both ELAR and in Math, and in ELAR they are modified Daily 5. I include 3 of these (Listening to Reading, Word Work, Writing), but students rotate rather than choosing. Along with centers, we do Writer's Workshop and Guided Reading during ELAR centers. It is our goal to turn our babies into independent learners so they can use critical thinking skills and work on their own without needing constant teacher assistance.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Kayla was teacher of the year at her campus for the 2015-2016 school year!

My own education history

Kayla attended Lubbock Christian University, graduated Summa Cum Laude at the top of the education department, and was also a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society. K'lyssa attended Texas Tech University, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was also a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society.
