1. Review the information for explorers Amundsen, Scott and Shackleton in Antarctica (although this can be adapted for any explorer). Research their diary writings. 2. Have students create 5 diary entries that have the following: a picture, a date and description of the event, and 2-3 sentences as if the student was the crew member writing. The "Explorers Expedition Diary" sheet that has an old paper background so that you can have an old looking diary!
