Sixth Grade Math

Review properties through Bingo. Some of the properties on cards are incorrect. I purposely did this to make sure my students were paying attention to the property. Ex. 8(m-6) = 8m-6

My students adore this lesson. Students randomly draw a profession and make a yearly budget with their salary. Professions and budget template are attached with the lesson.

I have used this task question at the beginning of the year when were studying percents and fractions of numbers. I have also used this towards the end of the year after we had learned of writing equations and inequalities and made the students show one equation and one inequality in their work.

Evaluate through use of Distributive Property, Integers, and Combing Like Terms.

Minute It To Win It game to collect data.

A game of spoons! Exciting game for students to play as an introductory, re-evaluation, or down time after testing. Students receive cards and must match three equivalents and then grab a spoon when they have a match. Other students in the group can then grab a spoon and the student without a spoon is then eliminated.
