This multifaceted resource helps students to learn and practice simplifying radicals. There are guided notes with steps, 8 stations with rigorous questions, and an exit ticket to assess understanding. This lesson was designed for a 75 minute block. This is an assessment aligned to the rigor of the Number Sense domain within the 6th Grade Math CCSS. I use this assessment every year as a pre-assessment to determine how to differentiate for my students, as well as post-unit assessment to show them their growth.
