I started tutoring elementary age children when I was still in high school, and have ever since been working one way or another with students from a wide range of background, age and abilities.
I have worked with kids from preschool age up to college, students with and without disabilities, and students with different learning styles.

On this place value center, students are to answer 22 questions about a 6 digit number. The student uses use place value to read, write (in symbols and words), and describe the value of six digits whole numbers.
This is great practice for identifying digits and their values depending of their position in a multiple digit number.

I am a graduate from Texas State University and am certified by the State of Texas to teach all core subjects from preschool to 8th grade. My certification also includes teaching English as a Second Language.
