Teaching style

My sessions ride the line between mellow vibes and creative mayhem. I roll with the rhythm and follow my students’ lead—whether that takes us outside for a scavenger hunt or quick arctic session under the sun, launching rocket balloons down the hallway, or suddenly shifting gears to whip up some slime and make an epic mess along the way. I love teaming up with my OT crew to build sensory-rich, movement-fueled experiences that let kids explore, play, and learn in ways that feel real. I’m big on unconventional methods, embracing the wild ideas, and helping kids grow their skills through moments that are grounded, meaningful, and beautifully chaotic.

My own education history

I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting a wide range of students, from preschoolers to young adults. Most of my therapy work has been with preschool and school-aged kids, but I’ve also had the opportunity to support middle and high school students along the way. I’ve worked with a variety of communication needs—including articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and complex communication needs. I’m especially passionate about AAC and finding functional, individualized ways to support each student’s communication across settings.
