Experience
I have taught for 24 years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher. I have also been a K-12 Gifted and Talented Enrichment Coordinator.
Teaching style
My teaching style includes a lot of differentiation. I am a firm believer in data analysis, pre and post testing, curriculum compacting, flexible grouping, tiered assignments, and commom core currriculum alignment. I use many visuals, drawings, creativity, and hands on in any teaching and communication with students.

Western Michigan University K-9 all subjects (9th grade geography). Majors in elementary education and geography. Masters work at the University of Connecticut in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in gifted education.
