In the Winter I Wear...Free Powerpoint Book

This PowerPoint is a great simple way to introduce or review clothes that children wear in the winter. It is a pattern book. It has pictures as well as audio that will read the book to your students. You can use it as a switch book for some of your AAC users or for young students. People in Your Neighborhood-Community Workers Song

This takes a favorite Sesame Street Song "Who are The People in Your Neighborhood" and changes it to talk about the various people that you would find in your community. It names each person and then gives a function for each worker. This is a really fun song that most children love to sing. It's enjoyable and it teaches them information about community workers at the same time. What a great way to teach about community occupations.

Balls! A simple Switch Book

This book was originally created as a simple augmentative switch book. By using this PowerPoint book on a computer with an adaptive switch students can make the balls move around the screen and trigger the sounds effects. It's useful for many AAC users. I have also had teachers use these books as an opportunity to practice descriptor words to describe different types of balls or sports Please feel free to use it however it fits your needs.

Everyday Handwriting

I have found in my work that many students with higher functioning autism or certain disabilities often lean towards perfectionism when handwriting. This often leads to students taking an inordinate amount of time to write. Many times this triggers a domino affect where students fall behind in their work. This is a social story or script that targeted those students. It can be used as a PowerPoint story on a computer or printed as a hard copy story.
