Experience

I obtained by BS from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2013 and my MS from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2015. GO DAWGS! I completed my pediatric internships at Tamaroa Grade School and CCSD #204 and my medical internship at Herrin Hospital. I provide services to students ages PreK-8th grade. In addition to the schools, I provide PRN services at local nursing homes.

Teaching style

I believe in presenting students with classroom rules and teaching routines early on. It is my belief that teaching these rules and expectations allow for students to begin therapy on the right foot and concentrate on the content of the lessons.

Additional biographical information

I live in my small hometown of Du Quoin, IL with my husband Eli and my adorable Boston Terrier Mavis. Du Quoin is about 15-20 minutes from the school districts I work at and has been home my whole life. I have always enjoyed making my own therapy materials customized to my student's needs and interests and am so excited to share them with you!
