I have been teaching 7th grade Math for over 20 years. My teaching philosophy is to have students practice while I offer support. The less talking I do, the more practice the student does. The more practice the student does, the better they understand the material.

The last 5-10 minutes of class I have devoted to Daily Reflection & Exit Questions. On one side, I copy this Daily Reflection and on the other side, I have the students answer Exit Questions which can be posted on the Smartboard or already on the backside of the Daily Reflection.

I am living my dream! I have been married over 30 years to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 beautiful, smart daughters. I am lucky to teach middle school students. Who could ask for anything more :)
