Teaching style

I have a very student-centered classroom. I want students to be engaged and have fun while learning. It is my goal to instill in my students to have a love for learning and understand that it is truly a lifelong process.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My shining teaching moment is just seeing that smile on my students faces telling me they'll miss school over the weekend! What more could a teacher ask for?! :)

My own education history

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2005 with a BS in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Reading from National Louis University in March of 2012. I am a certified reading specialist.
