I have taught a plethora of grade levels and in different settings. It has been a pleasure having the experience of working in primary, intermediate and middle school classrooms. I have taught for 10 years and am now teaching 2nd grade. I love my job!

Teaching style

I use the guided approach to both math and reading. The curriculum that I use is focused on small group instruction to accompany the center philosophy as well.

My own education history

I worked in the corporate setting for over 10 years. After many years of not being happy with what I was doing, I went back to school and obtained my teaching certification through a master's program.

Additional biographical information

I am a mother, wife and friend to many. My job is a part of me and I love teaching the citizens of tomorrow. As a family we spend much time together traveling and just enjoying life. I like to use my experiences to enhance my teaching and my classroom.
