Everyone needs extra practice with sight words! This can be used as a packet or given to students one page at a time, for in-class work or homework. Short writing activity to use during a tall tale unit! Students write about the beginning, middle, and end of their favorite tall tale and give an example of exaggeration from the story. This activity fits in perfectly with the Core Knowledge 2nd grade unit on Fairy Tales and Tall Tales, but can be incorporated into any study of tall tales.
