This is a math dictionary/glossary template that can be used as a reference throughout the year. As students come across an important math vocabulary term, they can add it to their dictionary. There is a "how-to" tip page as well as an example slide included. More slides can be added for each letter of the alphabet as needed simply by utilizing the duplicate function. *If you plan to use this on Google Classroom, don't forget to check to box to make a copy for each student!
The exercises included in this packet are designed to expose students to strategies that help with multiplying facts beyond 12 mentally. The exercises start off with basic facts so and then progress to more complex facts. Multiplying 144 x 5, for example, can be computed mentally by using the simplicity of multiplying by 10 (144 x 10 = 1,440) and then splitting that product in half, since 5 is half of 10.
Similar exercises for multiplying by 4, 8, and 12 are included.
Keep track of nightly multiplication and/or division fluency with this easy to use log. The log requires a initial from a parent/guardian (or I even allow older siblings & babysitters) to confirm nightly practice.
The months October thru May are displayed on one sheet, so no need to reprint each month.
Edit the time requirements or study tips to personalize as needed.
